The price you are paying to fill up your tank went down again.
AAA Texas says the average price around Houston this morning is down to $1.92. Spokesman Daniel Armbruster tells KTRH falling crude oil prices are driving prices down, and will continue to do so for a while.
“It’s not clear how long the prices will continue to fall. Eventually they will hit a bottom,” Armbruster said.
For now, Armbruster says it’s been a while since we have seen gas prices like this.
“Summer of 2017 was the last time we saw prices close to where they are now,” Armbruster stated.
The statewide average in Texas is $1.93. The national average this morning per gallon is $2.25.
