The partial government shutdown continues with no end in sight. Democrats now sing a different tune when it comes to the main issue preventing the government from opening back up than they used to just a few years ago.
Because a few years ago Democrats like Chuck Schumer sounded like Republicans when it comes to border security.
“People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens, and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who enter the U.S. legally,” Schumer said a decade ago.
Former Trump Administration official Sebastian Gorka told Fox News priorities for Dems have changed; now it's all about taking down Trump.
“This is about power. If they want to protect Americans then build the wall,” Gorka stated.
Gary Polland with the Texas Conservative Review told KTRH that sadly, Gorka is right.
“The Democrats are talking about subpoenas and investigations as opposed to talking about and addressing concerns the country faces,” Polland explained.
