We started the countdown early in the morning of December 31st…looking to the new year 2019.
It’s a personal thing. In my life, every decade ending with that nine year has been challenging, difficult and pivotal…launching me into a new existence or way of thinking…. that comes to fruition in those “ought” “oh” zero years and decade markers.
For instance 1979 was a difficult year in career and personal life….but it launched me to Houston and a new tv station and home here. I mentally go through those nines and, in retrospect, see how they set me up for the zeroes. So I look at 2019….with a single resolution….to try to stay nimble, rise about the challenges and be optimistic that it’s all to a good end. Happy New Year!
