(Houston, TX) -- A man is under arrest after an argument led to gunfire that wounded a seven-year-old boy on Wednesday evening. Police say the boy's father got into an argument with an employee of a tire shop on the South Loop West near Almeda.
The employee pulled a gun and fired a shot, and investigators say broken glass or shrapnel wounded the boy in the arm.
The boy's father took him to Texas Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Houston police arrested the employee, who says he acted in self-defense.
