Guatemalan Boy Dies In U.S. Custody

(El Paso, TX)  --  The eight-year-old boy who died in the custody of Customs and Border Patrol is being identified as Felipe Alonzo-Gomez.  Congressman Joaquin Castro of Texas issued a statement on the second Guatemalan child to die this month in the custody of agents.  

Castro is the chairman-elect of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and he is calling for an investigation into the death.  A seven-year-old Guatemalan girl died earlier this month while in the custody of Border Patrol agents.
