Travelers Accused Of Carrying More Than 100 Pounds Of Marijuana Into Dallas

(Dallas, TX)  --  Five people are facing charges, accused of flying into Dallas with more than 120 pounds of marijuana.  According to The Dallas Morning News, police records show that drug-sniffing dogs found 130 packages of marijuana in 10 suitcases at an airport baggage carousel last week.  Four men from Tyler and a woman from DeSoto were arrested.

Investigators say the group flew to California, where recreational marijuana is legal, bought the drugs and planned to sell them in Texas.  All five are facing felony drug possession charges.
