Texans set for Eagles at home

The Houston Texans have a lot to play for this weekend before Christmas. Their playoff future is something they have control of.

The Texans will host the defending Super Bowl Champion Eagles on Sunday at NRG Stadium. If the Texans win, they clinch the AFC South. Houston is also playing the second seed in the AFC Playoffs.

In the meantime the Eagles, a season after winning the Super Bowl, are struggling. They are 7-7 and fighting for their playoff lives. Texans Coach Bill O’Brien says his Eagles counterpart, Doug Pederson, will have his team ready to play.

“I don’t think there’s anything easy about the Eagles. Doug is one of the best play callers in the league. We know it’s going to be a huge challenge,” O’Brien explained.

Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson agrees.

“There’s a lot on the line. They have to win to do what they want to do, and the same goes for us,” Watson said.

Kickoff is at Noon.
