Already, one fatal accident has been reported this morning after a vehicle hit an 18-wheeler in dense fog in northwest Harris County. Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's say that driver died at the hospital.
It happened at a red light on the Beltway 8 feeder heading westbound at T.C. Jester. All lanes have since reopened.
Emergency units had to cut a couple of people out of the vehicle. Their condition is unknown this morning.
A fog alert has been extended to 10am.
