7YO Immigrant Girl Dies In Border Patrol Arrest Custody

The U.S. Border Patrol says a seven-year-old girl died in their custody last week, after they did all they could to save her.  The Washington Post reported that the Guatemalan girl died of shock and dehydration only eight hours after being taken into custody.

The Guatemalan girl and her father were part of a large group of migrants crossing the border through the New Mexico desert.
