Houston Police are on scene at a home where a homeowner has shot a burglar.
It happened around 5a.m. Wednesday morning at that home in the 1400 block of Pearl St., near Wiggins in northeast Houston.

The homeowner heard what sounded like someone breaking into his home. Two burglars were trying to break in.
He grabbed his gun and shot one of the burglars. The other burglar managed to escape.
