Sir Elton John in Houston

Houston says goodbye to the yellow brick road this weekend.

Sir Elton John has performed in Houston many times but makes his last two appearances tonight and tomorrow night at Toyota Center.

He has been kicking around, appearing in concert all over the world for the past half century, and the celebrated singer/songwriter is hanging up his dancing shoes on the heels of a storied career to spend more time with his family.

Elton John announced his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” in January of this year, opening the first date in Pennsylvania in September.  There are 300 dates on the tour, which will close with a concert in London in December of 2020.
