Gas around Houston is nine cents cheaper than it was just last week.
Daniel Armbruster with AAA Texas tells KTRH the Houston average is now $2.21 a gallon and that $2.21 is the lowest we have seen this year in Houston. One reason is the abundance in supply, which could change, but for now, prices continue to drop.
At this point, the Texas average is also at its lowest for the year at $2.19 a gallon.
