WATCH: Texans keep on rolling

Make that eight straight wins now for the Houston Texans.

Playing their first game since the death of owner Bob McNair this past Friday, the Houston Texans crushed the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football at NRG Stadium by a final of 34 to 17.

Deshaun Watson accounted for three touchdowns last night, throwing for two and running for another. The running game also took center stage with Lamar Miller running for 162 yards on 12 carries. Miller also scored on a 97-yard run, and Watson says that just made everything easier for the Texans offense.

“It opened up the whole offense. It was a challenge for them to open up the passing game, and that’s what we did,” Watson said.

As for Miller, he was more focused on the eight game winning streak than any personal statistics he put up. Miller says the Texans just keep proving their critics wrong.

“A lot of people doubted us, but everybody in this locker room stayed together,” Miller stated.

The Texans defense also rose to the challenge last night, sacking Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota six times. J.J. Watt has one-and-a-half of those sacks.

The Texans are back in action on Sunday afternoon, hosting Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns at NRG for a Noon kick.
