Customers Who Got Benjamins From ATM By Mistake Can Keep Them

(Houston, TX)  --  Bank of America says customers who got 100-dollar bills from a north Harris County ATM instead of twenties can keep the money.

Police say a customer using the ATM near FM 1960 and I-45 around 11 p.m. Sunday got a 100 instead of a 20.

Word quickly spread through social media, and about two hours later, Harris County deputies had to come disperse a crowd.

Bank of America says a vendor mistakenly loaded that one ATM with 100-dollar bills.  No word on how many people took advantage of the error or how much cash was withdrawn.
