Trump Presides Over Annual Turkey Pardoning Of "Peas" and "Carrots" Today

(Washington, DC)  --  President Trump will uphold a longstanding tradition when he pardons a Thanksgiving turkey at the White House today.  

Two turkeys, named Peas and Carrots, have been chosen and one will be selected for pardoning.  

Both will then be allowed to retire at the Gobblers Rest exhibit at Virginia Tech.  The turkeys are from South Dakota and spent the night in a luxury DC hotel.
