Now's your chance to be an Astros Shooting Star. Auditions are this weekend inside Union Station at Minute Maid Park.
The Astros' Catie Willis said it's a great opportunity to be a positive role model in the community and for new, or lifetime, fans of all ages.
“It brings them so much joy. They are constantly talking about their interactions with fans,” said Willis. “We see little girls all the time with these big, huge grins every time the Shooting Stars walk up.”
She said the women should be role models in every way and make a difference.
To qualify, you must be a women who is passionate when it comes to the Astros organization and baseball.
While registration is closed, you can walk-up. Doors open at 8 am.
