It’s back to court for Texas and the other states challenging DACA.
They'll be back in court today for a hearing as this court case continues with Texas and other states claiming DACA is not constitutional. Jessica Vaughan with the Center for Immigration Studies tells KTRH this case is different from some of the others we've seen.
“Texas and these other states are saying the Obama Administration had no authority to create the DACA program,” Vaughan said.
And she explains the courts are the right place for this to be settled once and for all.
“This needs to go to the Supreme Court so that no future President can take this kind of action,” Vaughan stated.
