If you’re planning a trip for Thanksgiving, you are not alone. Not by any stretch. In fact, 4.1 million Texans will be traveling for Thanksgiving.
“Three point eight million of those Texans will be driving,” said Daniel
Armbruster with AAA Texas. “That’s up almost five percent from last
year. It’s the highest number we’ve seen since 2005.”
Armbruster tells KTRH it's because of our booming economy.
“We have low unemployment and higher consumer confidence,’ Armbruster stated.
Gas prices are trending down as well. They are down twenty-one cents from where they were a month ago. The average across Huston is $2.45 a gallon.
