(Los Angeles, CA) -- A stuntwoman for the hit 70's show "Wonder Woman" died at the age of 72. Kitty O'Neil became one of Hollywood's first stuntwomen when she began working with star Lynda Carter during the show's run.
The 5-foot-2 woman was known as a TV pioneer for her daring, record-setting stunts including a 127-foot dive from a Los Angeles hotel.
As a legendary stunt artist, who was also deaf, O' Neil earned her own Mattel action figure and a 1979 TV movie where she was played by actress Stockard Channing.
She often said she liked to prove people wrong who thought she couldn't do something because she was deaf.
