(Houston, TX) -- Astros pitcher Justin Verlander is one of the three American League finalists for the 2018 Cy Young Award. MLB announced the finalists on Monday. Also in the running are Tampa Bay's Blake Snell and Cleveland's Corey Kluber.
If Verlander is named the winner, it will be his second time. He also won the award in 2011, the same year he was the MVP for the Detroit Tigers. This year's Cy Young Award winner will be named on November 14th.
