Uber, Lyft Offering Discounted Rides For Election Day

Ride sharing services are stepping up to help get people to the polls today.  Uber and Lyft are offering discounted rides.  Uber users will give riders a ten-dollar discount if they're going to a polling place, while Lyft is offering 50-percent off rides to vote.  Additionally, Lyft is giving away free rides to people in some underserved communities.

If hitching a ride isn't your thing, the bike-sharing company Motivate will allow people to use their services for free if they're going to vote.  The company operates in cities including San Francisco, Chicago, New York and Washington DC.
