Duncan Hines Recalls 4 Cake Mix Types Over Salmonella Outbreak

Four types of cake mix are being recalled after a salmonella outbreak.  The Food and Drug Administration announced yesterday that Conagra Brands is recalling four of its Duncan Hines cake mixes because of possible salmonella contamination.

The company says a CDC investigation has found salmonella in a retail sample of Duncan Hines Classic White cake mix that might be linked to five cases of salmonella illness.  Information about the recalled cake mixes is on the FDA website.
