HS Girls Suspended for Columbine Costumes

Two girls are suspended from school in central Kentucky, after dressing like the Columbine High School shooters for Halloween.

The teens appeared on campus in Columbia, Kentucky – 120-miles south of Louisville -  wearing clothing that mimicked the outfits of the boys who killed 12 classmates and a teacher, and wounded 26 others in Aurora, Colorado in 1999.  The shooters later committed suicide.

The girls were not armed, but dressed in black with fake blood on their faces.  They posted reenactments on social media, with side-by-side images from the actual massacre.

The father of one of the teens admits the girls made a mistake, but claims the Adair County School District blew the situation out of proportion when they suspended the students.
