Millennials tend to be loose-lipped with salary info

HOUSTON - A study by Bankrate.com found those between the ages of 18 and 37 are pretty loose-lipped when it comes to their salary. Analyst Amanda Dixon says a lot of that has to do with millennials feeling comfortable of sharing everything they do on social media.

Dixon adds, "Many millennials are very aware of their financial situation and the fact that they're facing many financial challenges that their parents did not face like crushing student debts, so a lot of these financial issues are front and forward for millennials."

Dixon encourages those in romantic relationships to share info, but says it's still a faux pas to do so in the workplace.
