(Galveston, TX) -- An alligator is on his way to a new home after turning up on the Galveston Seawall on Wednesday morning.
Galveston police responded to Seawall Boulevard at 21st Street after somebody reported the gator.
Officers worked with the Galveston Island Beach Patrol to pull it onto the shore. Texas Parks and Wildlife personnel helped tape the alligator's jaws shut and bind its legs. They then took it to a wildlife rehab center.
