(Cypress, TX) -- A man is under arrest for bringing a gun to Cy-Falls High School this week.
A Cypress-Fairbanks ISD spokeswoman says 18-year-old Tyrodney Jefferson brought the loaded .22-caliber handgun to the campus on Monday. Jefferson is not a student at the school. A staff member noticed that Jefferson had a non-transparent backpack, in violation of the school's safety policy.
He dropped the backpack as he ran away from officers, who found the gun inside it. Jefferson is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
