(Houston, TX) -- Houston residents are being cautioned to wait for the waving American flag when they vote. Harris County election officials say that a ballot is not counted until a flag pops on the voting machine.
There have been about 720 so-called "canceled booths" during the early voting period so far, which means the person has left without properly submitting their ballot. Citizens are urged to check out a sample ballot before they vote and to visit harrisvotes.org for more information.
