If you believe the oddsmakers and not the mainstream media, there’s a good chance Republicans will maintain control of both houses of Congress after next week’s midterms.
The website MyBookie is bullish on the GOP’s chances next week. Maxim Lott o Election Betting Odds says there’s a reason you might want to pay attention to the guys talking with their wallets as opposed to pundits just talking.
“They just spout their opinion. If they are wrong no one gets called out on it. When you are betting your own money, you lose that money if you’re wrong, Lott said.
Lott says he can see where the Oddsmakers are coming from, but his own odds have Republicans keeping control of the Senate but a less than 50-50 chance of maintaining control of the House of Representatives.
