HOUSTON - The Texans won their fifth straight game on Thursday with a convincing 42-23 win over the Miami Dolphins. Deshaun Watson tossed five touchdowns on the night including one to Will Fuller, but the wide receiver would later leave the game with an injured knee.
On Friday, head coach Bill O'Brien told the media the bad news that Fuller would be out for the rest of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Fuller had five catches in Thursday night's game for 124 yards and a 73-yard touchdown.
A big loss for the Texans as they prepare to travel to Denver to take on the Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 4 for a week 9 contest. Houston has reeled off five wins in a row to improve to 5-3 and sit atop the AFC South.
