Politics is all about winning the hearts and minds. In Texas... where sentiments are deep and iconic...that "winning of" takes unusual directions. For instance, Democrat Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke skateboarding through a Whataburger parking lot almost went off the Richter scale of hearts reaction.
But don't ever count out the incumbent Senator Ted Cruz. Circulating now in the video world is "beautiful" Ted, as the President now calls him, carrying a 12-pack of Shiner beer through a Bucee's.
