Mistakes on accounts could hurt your retirement

If retirement is on the horizon for you, you probably have prepared for years. But if you’re preparing for retirement, Andy Smith, who hosts ‘Investing Sense’ on KTRH, says you better have a checklist handy, one that you’ve been updating. Because there’s a lot that goes into this.

“You have to figure out what your cash flow is going to be,” Smith explained. “You also need to account for your expenses, your debt, investments, and taxes.”

Smith also says Social Security is a big part of this, too.

“How you’re going to claim. When you’re going to claim. You need to pull all of this together in order to have the retirement that you want,” Smith said.
