Student Loan Debt vs Your House
By iHeartMedia’s Sally Adams
Can you imagine owing more on your student loan that you do on your house? The average student loan debt is not paid off until 19 or 20 years.” Eight per cent of our city's student loan holders actually do owe less on their homes than their education. Shin says, “It's mostly because our home prices are ‘’reasonable’ and so are the payments. And these students went to really expensive schools!”
