U.S. Congressman John Culberson and his Democratic challenger Lizzie Pannill Fletcher hold their only debate for the race in the TX 07 congressional district at 6:30 pm on Sunday, October 21 at the University of Houston.
It was rescheduled after 62-year-old Culberson fell ill with what doctors at Memorial Hermann Hospital called “complicated diverticulitis.” Following surgery on October 1 Culberson was hospitalized for ten days.
The debate was originally scheduled for next Monday.
It will be the candidates’ only debate.
