The Houston Texans fell to 0-3 on the season, following their 27-22 loss to the New York Giants at NRG Stadium.
The Texans have lost nine in a row dating back to last season, the longest active losing streak in the NFL.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson was 24-40 for 385-yards and two touchdowns. He also threw an interception and was sacked three times. Will Fuller caught five of those passes for 101-yards and a TD.
The offense sputtered through much of the game, racking up yards but also turning the ball over twice inside the Giants’ 20-yard line. Their final score came with :01 left in game, a short pass from Watson to Lamar Miller.
JJ Watt appears to have returned to pre-injury form. He had three sacks on the day, his first of the 2018 season.
The Texans are back on the road next weekend, facing the 1-2 Colts in Indianapolis.
