Charter Bus Caught in Houston Flooding

Nearly three dozen church-goers were rescued from a charter bus that got stuck in high water in northwest Harris County Saturday.

Heavy rain on Saturday caused street flooding on lower-lying areas across Houston.

The bus ran off the road on Haynes Road, near the intersection of Cutten Road and FM 1960, and into a water-filled ditch.

The 32 passengers were on their way to a missions conference in Navasota.

One person was taken to the hospital with an ankle injury, but no one else was hurt.
