Buc-ee's Recalls Jerky Product

An El Campo meat processing company that sells its product at Buc-ee’s is recalling 690 pounds of its ready-to-eat teriyaki beef jerky, after a customer found a metal object in one of its pouches.

The product in question comes from Junior’s Smokehouse Processing Plant, and is sold under the label “Buc-ee’s Hill Country Brand Teriyaki Beef Jerky.”

There are no injuries or illnesses associated with the recall.

Customers who bought the product are asked to either throw it away or return it to its point of purchase.
