New Apple Privacy Policy Cracks Down Starting In October

(Cupertino, CA)  --  Apple is cracking down on apps that don't have a privacy policy.

Starting October 3rd, Apple says all apps, including those in the testing phase, must communicate to users about how their information is used, secured and shared.

The new policy will be required for all apps and app updates across the board.  Apple previously required apps that offered subscriptions or interacted with Apple Pay to have privacy policies.  That requirement will now apply to everything in the app store.
