President Trump is lending a helping hand to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
The latest NBC/Marist Poll shows the incumbent Republican with a four-point lead over challenger Beto O’Rourke, fueling hopes among Democrats of an upset victory in November.
Trump tweeted, “I will be doing a major rally for Senator Ted Cruz in October. I’m picking the biggest stadium in Texas I can find. As you know, Ted has my complete and total Endorsement. His opponent is a disaster for Texas – weak on the Second Amendment, Crime, Borders, Military, and Vets!”
