If you're tired of work and need a break - you can still make flight plans for Labor Day and save some serious bucks. A lot of flights are the cheapest they have been in 4 years! Good deals abound to Florida and the rest of the southeast and Shayla Northcutt of Northcutt Travel Agency says the fall is looking good for economical flights to Europe.
You can save the most money by leaving this Saturday and returning next Wednesday.
The Southeast has some of the best bargains this year, with low prices on flights to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Myrtle Beach, and Atlanta. Northcutt says travel in the fall is looking pretty affordable as well. “Major discounts for airfare to Europe for the fall.”
And she said although jet fuel costs are rising - plane tickets aren't reflecting those costs yet.
Then there's Wanderift - an airline travel membership where you can book a domestic flight for as low as a hundred dollars. Northcutt warns you to check all the details before you sign up. “It’s like a time-share thing, It’s great if you know you’re going to travel all the time - but it might not be for occasional travelers.”
