A three-year old boy in Willis suffers burns over 60-percent of his body when a spray-paint can exploded.
Investigators say the victim and his seven-year old brother were standing near a trash can fire when the paint can exploded. The older child called 9-1-1 for help. There is no word on where the parents were during the incident.
The child was airlifted to Shriner’s Hospital in Galveston, where he is being treated for second and third-degree burns.
