Nebraska man holds FROG hostage

(North Platte, Nebraska)  --  Charges are being filed in Nebraska against a man who held a frog hostage.  The sheriff's office in Lincoln County says a deputy ran into the man earlier this week after a crash in the western part of the state.

He's accused of then grabbing a frog, claiming he was holding it hostage and threatening the officer.  It took a Taser to place him in handcuffs and he was taken to a hospital.

Police believe drugs and alcohol played a factor in the incident.
