What Is a Perfect Day?

How would you describe the perfect day?  The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council asked 2,000 American what the perfect day would be like.  On average, we’d be happiest if we could wake up at 8:15 in the morning, preferably without an alarm clock.  It would be a sunny day with a high of 74, and we’d like to spend about three hours of the day outdoors.  If we’re talking Houston, we’d probably also request low humidity.  The ideal day, they found, would include four hours spent with family, three hours to hang with friends, and three hours to hang on the couch watching TV.  We’d like to hit the sack and call it a day at 10:50pm.

Respondents were also asked about “mood boosters,” those things that can brighten a day.  Music can be one.  The Beatles were voted the most “mood boosting” band, followed by the Eagles and Michael Jackson.
