(McAllen, TX) -- Police in McAllen, Texas say reports of shots fired at a shopping mall were false. Panic flooded La Plaza Mall this afternoon when suspects smashed several glass cases during an attempted robbery at a jewelry store.
No injuries are reported and all of the suspects are now in custody.
Authorities quickly took to social media to alert the public about the incident.
