When tax reform was signed into law last December, Democrats said the cuts would only help the rich. Boy were they wrong.
Since it went into effect, more than 650 companies have given employees bonuses. Vance Ginn with the Texas Public Policy Foundation tells KTRH how Texans have benefited.
“A recent report from the Heritage Foundation shows there was a tax cut of $1100 for each Texan that is working,” Ginn stated.
So much for Nancy Pelosi’s crumbs. And there's more coming. Woodlands Congressman Kevin Brady is pushing for Tax Reform 2.0, and Ginn says it's needed because the first version was only temporary.
“A lot of those will expire in 2023. The latest version would make those permanent,” Ginn said.
And Brady told Fox Business now is a great time to get this done.
“We think this is a perfect time to help families save more and save earlier,” Brady said.
