NBA star Carmelo Anthony may join the Houston Rockets.
If he does, it would complete a complicated transaction in which was traded from the Thunder to the Hawks, then placed on waivers, then signing with Rockets.
The Rockets are considered to be the front-runner to sign Anthony, with the Miami Heat also reportedly in the running.
It could be several days before all transactions are complete -- no matter where Anthony ends up.
The team is keeping a close eye on the status of 10-time All-Star.
The Rockets reportedly met with Anthony in June. They attempted to sign him as a free agent in 2014 and to trade for him last season. In the latter attempt, Anthony had even waived his no-trade clause in order to clear a path to join the team.
