Astros Draft Becomes Family Affair

The Houston Astros are keeping their success in the family.   Three players selected in the amateur draft already have links to the major league club.

Carlos Correa's younger brother J.C. was selected in the 33rd round; he plays second base.  Two round later, the Astros picked left-handed pitcher A.J. Bregman.  His brother Alex informed him of the good news before last night's game against the Mariners.

In the 37th round, the team selected outfielder Antonio Cruz.  He's the grandson of longtime Astros star Jose Cruz, who played in Houston from 1976-87.  His number 25 was retired, and hangs from the outfield rafters in Minute Maid Park.
