Bush Intercontintental Reopens After Bomb Comment

A section of Bush Intercontinental Airport was briefly closed off Wednesday following a passenger's comment about a bomb.

Operations soon returned to normal after an all-clear was issued. Flights were not delayed.

The Houston Airport System says part of Terminal D was briefly closed this morning so a bomb squad could check the area.

A customer at an airline check-in desk made the comment that prompted the action. He was taken into custody.
