The Houston Rockets have hit a temporary snag in their current surge in the NBA playoffs.
The Rockets announced Friday today that guard Chris Paul will miss Saturday’s game at Golden State.
Paul, 33, who has averaged 18.7 points per game in a 14-season career, suffered a right hamstring strain late in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s victory against the Warriors.
He tweaked his leg while trying to drive to the basket as Houston held a late lead.
"He will be re-evaluated after the team returns to Houston," the team said in a statement.
The Rockets lead the best-of-seven Western Conference championship series 3-2.
