Gun safety is no laughing matter...
Longtime NFL kicker Jay Feeley is explaining himself after a social media post showing him holding a gun next to his daughter and her date to the high school prom. The Twitter picture includes the caption, "Wishing my beautiful daughter and her date a great time at prom #bad boys."
Feeley says the picture “was obviously intended to be a joke.” He went on to explain, "I take gun safety seriously (the gun was not loaded and had no clip in) and i did not intend to be insensitive to that important issue.”
The 41-year old spent 14-seasons in the NFL with six teams. Feeley now lives in Arizona and works as a football analyst for CBS Sports.
