A man is alive after a Houston police officer pulled him from a burning 18-wheeler.
The big rig exploded Saturday morning on southbound I-45 near West Gulf Bank following a seven-vehicle accident.
It all started when a pickup blew a tire, then was hit by five other vehicles.
The tractor trailer's driver attempted to avoid the crash, but ended up flipping his rig.
No deaths or serious injuries were reported, but the accident forced an immediate shutdown of southbound I-45 lanes.
